The Edelbrock Performer 289 Intake Manifolds are dual-plane, low-rise intake manifolds with a 180 degree firing order and a patented runner design that delivers outstanding performance. This patented design greatly improves torque over a wide RPM range, especially off-idle through 5,500 RPM. It is designed for no- EGR vehicles and are legal in all 50-states. These manifolds also deliver improved throttle response over stock intakes and are available in both EGR and non-EGR styles . They accept late-model choke, water neck, alternator, and air conditioning brackets and have provisions for oil filler tube.
