This Stage 2 Sealed Intake produces 12 HP, 15 pounds x feet of torque and outflows the factory intake by 56 percent. This sealed air intake system features a washable and reusable 6 inches conical air filter with inverted top that improves airflow for increased horsepower, torque and throttle response. The air filter is constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The sealed housing features two auxiliary air inlet ducts for increased airflow. To finish off your underhood appearance, an attractive vacuum formed ABS plastic cover with carbon fiber finish is used to provide easy access to the filter for servicing and an aggressive look. To complete this system, a dyno tuned molded plastic intake tube with velocity stack adapter replaces the stock intake tract and directs air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum intake velocity. Vacuum formed ABS carbon fiber finish cover - this intake is topped with a vacuum formed ABS carbon fiber finish cover that seals out hot intake air and provides an aggressive yet elegant look to your 3-series. Dual "Kidney" auxiliary air inlet ducts - aFe engineers have added two auxiliary air inlets to provide additional air volume. These two ducts are styled in the "Kidney Bean" Style that made BMW famous. 6 inches conical air filter with inverted top - this intake utilizes a huge, 6 inch conical Pro 5R performance air filter with inverted top for maximum flow. This 5-layer progressive, oiled cotton gauze air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque. Fully sealed design - aFe engineers have designed a very sophisticated 2-piece sealed intake that keeps out warm underhood air and brings in cooler, outside air for a denser air intake charge.
