This Stage 2 cold air intake system produces 18 max horsepower, 22 pounds x feet torque and outflowed the factory intake by 32 percent. Included in this system is a 16-gauge, powder coated heat shield and washable/reusable "oiled" conical air filter. This intake system also features a heat insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. One-piece heat shield requires little or no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. A silicone throttle body adapter is included for a durable connection and seal over the life of the intake system. A massive 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6 percent efficient). The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100 percent polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Included in this kit is a stainless steel T-bolt clamp to insure a tight and secure installation. aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.
